Digisoft 2014 TV | iOS | Video Visual Design | Axure/HTML Prototype | After Effects Video This UI was part of a proposal for broadband provider. Besides Live TV, EPG, digital video recorder and Video on Demand the profile based interface allows the user to access home automation features like heating, intercom, alarms etc. My job was to apply visual design to the wires and build a prototype that can be navigated via remote control. For a more effective presentation the Digisoft design team created a video (After Effects & Premiere) that showed the highlights of the UI. Client: Digisoft.tv Information Architecture | Navigation Design | Visual Design The Digital Classroom System (DCS) is a low cost hardware and software suite that helps education providers and NGOs to deliver education, training and community information in non-connected areas in a portable and sustainable way. The DCS is available in two forms, a set-top box and a smart projector. The DCS set-top box can be plugged into a TV and controlled with a wireless keyboard. The DCS Smart Projector is a projector and computer rolled into one, eliminating the need for a TV. The system supports third party interactive content and can easily be „skinned“ with other brandings, images, colors etc. (white label app).

I helped with putting together the information architecture, developed the HDTV wireframes and visual prototype (http://6600cp.axshare.com, Username/PW: learner (student version of the UI) or parent (parent view of the UI)) and created some of the visuals.

Client: TVTextbook Navigation Design | Visual Design The Set-Top Box client started to look a bit outdated so I explored ideas to give it a fresh new look and make it more appealing to kids by adding things like gamification, themes, messaging, widgets and characters that guide through the UI. Unfortunately the funding for the project was stopped so the designs never saw the daylight 🙁
